Description
The role offers to drive excellence in Customs Product and Compliance management, ensuring strong commercial performance while maintaining the highest regulatory standards. Also, an opportunity to influence pricing, profitability, and compliance frameworks in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.Description & Ownership:
1. Owns the local Customs value proposition and pricing with a strong focus on P&L and Area customs profitability.
2. Drives margin growth and ensures customer relevance.
3. Leads the Customs compliance program across Area/country, acting as the subject matter expert and owning audit readiness along with permits and licenses.
Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for product performance (GP/EBIT contribution), adherence to standards (process, data, platform), and successful change introduction with go-to-market readiness.
2. Oversees regulatory monitoring and internal policy deployment.
3. Manages audits, corrective actions, claims, and the lifecycle of permits, bonds, and authorizations.
Critical Tasks:
1. Analyses performance and voice of customer to prioritize improvements. Enables Sales and CX teams with relevant product information.
2. Maintains and updates tariffs based on regulatory cost changes and advises Sales on deal structuring and value-based pricing.
3. Conducts risk assessments and updates procedures/work instructions. Leads internal audits and prepares for external authority audits.
4. Manages permits (AEO, guarantees), training programs, and incident response.
Capabilities:

5. Investigations, root-cause, remediation
The role requires a commercially driven and customer-focused professional with a background in Sales, CX, or Commercial functions, demonstrating strong business acumen, including a solid understanding of P&L, pipeline management, and pricing strategies. The individual interfaces closely with clients, bringing maturity and strong negotiation skills to drive optimal commercial outcomes. The role demands a self-driven and highly organized individual who can quickly grasp new concepts, think analytically, and translate insights into action, while effectively bringing products to market and executing with speed and ownership.
