Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Product Manager to drive the design and delivery of Oracle's next-generation provider reimbursement solution for the German healthcare market.
In this role, you will serve as the product and domain expert responsible for translating complex hospital reimbursement requirements into scalable software capabilities. Working closely with hospitals, healthcare organizations, regulatory bodies, customers, and internal stakeholders, you will define the functional requirements that guide the development of our next-generation reimbursement platform.
A key focus of this role is enabling engineering teams to successfully deliver innovative solutions that support German inpatient reimbursement processes. You will gather and analyze customer requirements, document business workflows, define product specifications, and collaborate with engineering throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet both market and regulatory expectations.
The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in German inpatient reimbursement, including G-DRG-based payment methodologies, hospital billing, and revenue cycle processes. They will continuously monitor changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies, assess their impact on product functionality, and drive the implementation of required enhancements.

Responsibilities

- Engage with hospitals, healthcare providers, and industry stakeholders to promote and support our inpatient reimbursement solutions.
- Conduct customer discovery sessions and gather requirements related to hospital reimbursement workflows and financial operations.
- Develop and maintain product requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define and validate functional solution designs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on German inpatient reimbursement regulations and reimbursement methodologies.
- Monitor changes to hospital reimbursement frameworks, including DRG-related regulations and reporting requirements.
- Translate customer, market, and regulatory requirements into product enhancements and roadmap priorities.
- Support customer demonstrations, workshops, and product presentations.
- Partner with implementation, consulting, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful adoption of product capabilities.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap planning for inpatient reimbursement solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of German inpatient reimbursement processes and hospital finance operations.
- Experience working with the German DRG-based reimbursement methodologies, medical controlling, hospital billing, and revenue cycle management.
- Experience in product management, healthcare consulting, business analysis, or healthcare operations.
- Ability to gather, document, and prioritize complex business requirements.
- Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent German, spoken and written.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the outpatient reimbursement process for ambulatory care, such billing via the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung, billing for Ambulante Spezialfachärztliche Versorgung and Hospital Outpatient Emergemcy care reimbursement.
- Experience with hospital information systems (HIS), revenue cycle, coding, or reimbursement software.
- Experience with medical coding for inpatient care, including G-DRG, ICD-10-GM and OPS codes
- Knowledge of German hospital regulations and healthcare policy.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into software solutions.
