The Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) provides a portfolio of corporate banking services, including investment & transaction banking as well as financial market solutions. It serves a broad range of clients both domestically and across the MENA region, including government entities, financial institutions, large to mid-size corporates, and commercial clients (SMEs), and maintains strategic relationships with leading banks globally
We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Transaction Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- Translate the strategy and plans shared by line manager into the product value proposition by developing and managing a differentiating and complex product portfolio which addresses customer needs and captures market opportunities
- Propose and implement strategies that enhance product cross-selling opportunities in order to increase customer acquisition, activation and retention
- Build market intelligence, conduct research and gather information using multiple sources to monitor market sizing, competitive landscape, customer segmentation and market opportunities in order to provide accurate and reliable info/data that enables decision-making
- Review, monitor and control a complex product portfolio to ensure portfolio quality, portfolio composition, risk recognition, accounts strategy and industry intelligence are aligned with the Bank's risk strategy and market conditions
- Manage self and team in line with ADCB's people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
- Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders
- Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank's standards
- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank's required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
The ideal candidate should have the following experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in Banking/Financial Services with experience in a Product Management role
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant specialisation
- Certified Product Manager (CPM) or equivalent
- Transaction Banking product knowledge
- Financial analysis
- Project management skills
