Then this Product Manager role could be the right opportunity for you!In Colombia, we offer an opportunity for a Product Manager - Oncology responsible for leading the development and execution of the Marketing Plan for assigned brands within the oncology portfolio. This role is accountable for ensuring strong product positioning, market share growth, and financial performance, while aligning strategic vision with execution excellence.
The Product Manager will act as a key strategic partner, integrating market insights, cross-functional collaboration, and customer engagement to deliver impactful results in a highly competitive and evolving environment.
Role Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within Oncology.
- Strong experience developing and executing marketing plans and long-term product strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage full product lifecycle, including positioning, growth and profitability.
- Experience managing P&L (profit and loss) and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to anticipate market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals, scientific societies and key stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution and accountability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership teams.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration (e.g., Commercial, Medical, Access).
- Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in dynamic and complex environments.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Strong digital and collaborative skills: Teams, Copilot, AZChatGPT, PowerPoint, Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the brand Marketing Plan to achieve business objectives.
- Design and implement long-term strategic plans to ensure product positioning, profitability, and market share growth.
- Conduct continuous market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Manage the product P&L, ensuring a strong balance between sales performance and investment.
- Ensure effective implementation of strategies through tactical execution aligned with sales objectives.
- Develop, review and approve promotional materials in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Monitor product performance, including sales, positioning and market share, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Present regular performance updates and strategic plans to regional teams and senior management.
- Maintain close engagement with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and scientific societies to gather insights and feedback.
- Lead cross-functional teams (CFT), promoting innovation, collaboration and high performance.
- Drive contingency planning and strategic adjustments based on performance and market dynamics.
- Ensure compliance with GxP requirements, pharmacovigilance, and internal policies.
- Contribute to a safe and compliant work environment aligned with Health & Safety standards.
