Job Description
As a Product Manager for the Japan Market, you'll lead the vision, strategy, and execution of products tailored to meet the unique needs of our Japanese customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, high-quality products that drive value for users and business growth. In your day-to-day, you will
- Own the product vision and strategy by defining and driving the product roadmap aligned with company goals, user needs, and market opportunities
- Be on top of the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch, balancing technical feasibility, design excellence, and business impact
- Work closely with Design, Engineering, Product Leadership, and Japan Business teams to align on both strategy and execution
- Leverage user insights, data, and business objectives to prioritize opportunities and apply emerging technologies (e.g., AI, LLMs) to enhance user experience and outcomes
- Ensure product localization is effective for the Japanese market, serving as the bridge between global product direction and local market requirements
This is a hybrid position, and the team is expected to come to the office 2-3 days per week.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a deep understanding of the full product development process
- Proven experience leading significant strategic initiatives on complex, ambiguous, and large-scale products
- Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality software that drives user efficiency and business results
- Skilled in conducting customer research to understand user needs and uncover actionable insights
- Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1 Level) and business-level English
- Experience with redesigns, information architecture, and content hierarchy - an advantage
- Familiarity with building and managing products within complex, multi-product ecosystems - an advantage
