Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking for a Full Time Marketing SpecialistFull-Time | Location: Hybrid / Remote
Austin-based team members: 2 days per week in office
Non-Austin team members: Remote
Travel: 2-4 times per year for team meetings

The Marketing Specialist serves as a central hub for marketing operations, ensuring requests from hospitals and operations teams are managed efficiently, prioritized appropriately, and executed in alignment with company strategy.

We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist to join the Thrive Pet Healthcare Support Office team.
In this role, you’ll play a meaningful part in advancing our organization’s priorities and supporting our hospital teams. Your expertise will help improve processes, elevate the employee and client experience, and strengthen the operational foundation of a growing, nationwide veterinary network.
What You’ll Do
Client Service - Hospitals & Operations
- Manage and triage incoming marketing tickets from operations and hospitals nationwide
- Prioritize requests based on urgency, business impact, and strategic alignment
- Assign and route tickets to appropriate team members or departments
- Track ticket progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Communicate updates, timelines, and expectations clearly and consistently
- Maintain organization within ticketing systems (e.g., categorization, tagging, documentation, etc.)
- Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve workflow efficiency
- Seek continuous improvement of support workflows through automation, AI tools, and improved processes/forms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize hospital experience for requests that come through (creative, digital, regional marketing managers, CRM, membership, communications, pricing, coding, product, social media and more)
- Report on ticket volume, turnaround time, and team performance
- Assign access to marketing systems such as CallRail, Birdeye, Brandfolder, Marek, Meta, and more)

Marketing Coordination Support
- Support Sr. Manager with execution of national and regional marketing initiatives
- Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, and approvals across teams
- Ensure brand consistency across all hospital marketing materials and ensure hospital requests have been accurately rendered
- Assist with collateral vendor production processes and communications
- Gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve marketing support and performance on an ongoing basis
Your Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing coordination, project management, or similar role
- Experience working with ticketing or project management tools (e.g., Freshdesk, Monday.com, Asana, Jira, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office 365 tools
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting multi-location or national marketing teams
- Familiarity with marketing campaign workflows and asset development
- Basic understanding of digital marketing channels
- Prioritization and decision-making
- Stakeholder management
- Process improvement mindset
- Adaptability and responsiveness
- Experience with adobe creative cloud is a plus
