Description
Job Responsibilities1. Deal sourcing and Marketing
- Independently or collaboratively with the business team, identify financing needs among strategic clients, large state-owned enterprises, listed companies, and high-quality private enterprises of the bank's head office and branches.
- Pitch and structuring customized syndicated loan solutions.
2. Syndicate loan leading management:
- Oversee the entire process of syndicated loan projects, including loan structuring, terms negotiation and coordination among parties (law firms, appraisal agencies, etc.).
- Documentation negotiation: Lead or deeply participate in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating syndication documents such as information memorandums, financing documents.
- Distribution: Develop and execute syndicate distribution strategies, conduct roadshows and presentations to potential participating banks, to successfully complete the distribution and ensure the syndicate is closed on time.
3. Efficient Coordination:
- Efficiently coordinate all parties involved, including borrower, participating banks, agent bank, relevant internal departments, to resolve critical issues in project execution.
- Establish and maintain relationships with peer financial institutions (banks, nonbank institutions) to expand the distribution network.
4. Market Research and Compliance Risk Control:
- Continuously monitor financial market dynamics, regulatory policy changes, and key industry trends to support product innovation and business decision-making
- Strictly implement regulatory requirements and the bank's internal compliance, anti money laundering, and risk management systems to ensure all projects are legally compliant and risks are controllable.
5. Profit Oriented and Brand Building:
- Secure favorable loan pricing and fee income in projects, and solicit cross-selling opportunities such as settlement deposits and bond underwriting to maximize comprehensive client benefits.
- Enhance the bank's professional reputation and brand position in the market by successfully arranging landmark syndicated projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, law, or a related field from a renowned domestic or international university.
- 5-8 years of work experience in corporate banking, syndicated loans, structured financing, or related fields at securities firms.
- Proven track record of independently leading or serving as a core member in successfully completing multiple complex syndicated loan projects.
- Experience in cross-border financing, M&A financing, or green finance syndication is preferred.
- Proficient in corporate financial analysis and credit risk assessment; familiar with syndicated loan documentation and operational processes; knowledgeable about China's financial market and regulatory framework.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, marketing, and project management abilities; strong sense of responsibility, resilience under pressure, and teamwork spirit.
- Holders of CPA, CFA, Legal Professional Qualification Certificate, or similar certifications are preferred.
