Troon's Corporate office, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Graphic Designer! We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and advance their career within a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to professional development and a desire to succeed in a dynamic corporate environment.Job Summary: This position is responsible for developing and executing marketing and advertising creative across both print and digital platforms for Troon and its global portfolio of golf clubs. Projects include, but are not limited to, email campaigns and templates, magazine advertisements, logos, brochures, menus, product materials, and more.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated to deliver exceptional customer service, with strong interpersonal communication skills and keen attention to detail. Success in this role requires the ability to translate written or verbal concepts into compelling visual designs, including layouts, graphics, and other creative assets.
Essential Duties:
• Plan, design and execute a wide array of graphic concepts and projects
• Creation of in-house promotional materials, flyers, posters, menus, logos, etc.
• Utilize Basecamp, a project management platform to manage, track, and prioritize incoming creative requests, ensuring timely and organized project delivery
• Work with the team to formulate and pitch concepts to clients
• Utilize AI-assisted design tools to support ideation, visual exploration, and production efficiency
• Effectively communicate with corporate team and club contacts through design creation and editing process
• Consult with clients' marketing teams to create cohesive designs that are in brand and goal alignment
• Track and log billable design hours, submit time to accounting for invoicing, and support project budget monitoring and expense tracking
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
• Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies
• Estimate time required for job completion and provide updates throughout the design process
• Meet tight deadlines and multi-task between numerous projects at a given time
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (BA) in graphic design or a related field, with a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands: Frequently sits, talks, hears, uses hands. Regularly walks and stands. Occasionally reaches with hands and arms, stoops, kneels, crawls and crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds. Environment/Noise: Noise level is moderate and occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability Preferences:
• Ability to read and speak English (e.g. the associates are required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Figma and AI Creative Tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint
• Skilled in photo editing
• Must include a portfolio demonstrating strong thinking and exceptional execution across branding, web, and print
