SVP / Director - Product Lead, Financing Platforms (NYC)

Re-architecting core infrastructure across securities finance

An established global markets business is hiring a senior product leader to drive the evolution of its financing platform spanning securities lending, repo, and margin.

This role sits close to the front office and is focused on building a cohesive, scalable platform that improves funding efficiency, enhances client offerings, and modernizes workflows across the financing ecosystem.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and execution of a critical markets platform that underpins financing activity across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end ownership of product strategy, roadmap, and delivery across financing capabilities
• Driving a multi-year transformation agenda focused on automation, real-time processing, and platform scalability
• Partnering closely with Trading, Treasury, and Finance to enhance capital usage, liquidity management, and funding outcomes
• Developing client-centric solutions, including digital interfaces, analytics tools, and API-driven capabilities
• Coordinating delivery across business, technology, risk, and operations to ensure seamless execution
• Continuously adapting the product strategy to reflect evolving market dynamics and regulatory requirements

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who combines deep domain expertise with proven product leadership in a front-office environment.

Core requirements:

• 10+ years experience within securities finance, such as securities lending, repo, or prime brokerage/financing
• Demonstrated ownership of product development at scale, including strategy through delivery
• Solid understanding of the financing lifecycle, including trade execution, collateral management, funding, and settlement
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, revenue-generating environments alongside trading teams
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions
