SummaryThe Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a motivated and results-driven Data and AI Product Manager who is passionate about data and AI to help us build and scale the next generation of enterprise data, analytics and AI-powered products. The Product Manager is responsible for defining product vision(s) and guiding the creation of world-class products, democratizing access, accelerating algorithmically powered processes, and fostering data-driven decision making across complex business domains.
The Product Manager will partner closely with business leaders and technical teams to deliver trusted, governed, and auditable enterprise search products that make trusted enterprise knowledge easy to find, understand, and use; democratizing access, reducing time spent searching across fragmented systems and knowledge base, and improving colleague productivity and operational consistency across complex business domains, across Hyatt's global enterprise. This role will own the Enterprise Search product portfolio, working in alignment with the broader Enterprise Data Agents platform while driving a distinct roadmap for user journeys, data-sources, relevance and answer quality, adoption, and measurable business outcomes. The Role
In this role, you'll define and guide the development of business-critical, scalable, and robust enterprise data and AI products that help colleagues discover trusted data and information and complete work faster. This position will guide product research, facilitate product strategies, define user journeys and search experiences, prioritize data and data-source onboarding, and guide Hyatt's agile development and product roll-out processes. You will be part of a global data and AI community and will work in cross-functional and agile project teams alongside business stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Stewards, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Application teams, UX Designers and Researchers, Governance partners, and executives to deliver highly trusted products used globally.
Responsibilities
• Drive the vision, roadmap, and direction for Hyatt's Data and AI Products aligned with Hyatt's business priorities
• Lead product discovery, planning, scoping, and prioritization to deliver high-impact outcomes for corporate and on-property colleagues
• Develop a deep understanding of colleague personas, search behaviors, information needs, and end-to-end user journeys through research, usage data, and continuous feedback
• Gather requirements, determine features and their priority, write product specs, refine feedback, help write test plans, manage backlog, and ship products quickly
• Define and prioritize the data-source onboarding roadmap based on user value, source readiness, ownership, governance, access requirements, and expected impact
• Ensure data quality, definition, monitoring, alerts, and recourse is built into roadmap plans and engineering requirements of each data and AI initiative/product
• Ensure new product and AI requirements follow Hyatt policies, security and privacy standards, role-based access controls, responsible AI principles, and corresponding contracts before being passed to developers
• Define and ensure products meet business SLAs
• Gain an intimate understanding of the current methods of building and delivering data and AI pipelines into Hyatt's data and AI Platforms and define how this should work in the future
• Represent the team with partners and senior company leaders to align resources and prioritization
• Promote enterprise-wide adoption of data and AI Products
• Educate teams on data and AI Products and use cases
• Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Strong background and knowledge in production ready data and AI product lifecycle development on modern cloud data platforms will be important to this role.
• The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to Hyatt core values: respect, integrity, humility, empathy, creativity, and fun.
• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Preferred: master's degree in business (MBA), Computer Science, Engineering Management, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in guiding the strategy and lifecycle of data and AI products and its underlying data to ensure it collectively achieves business objectives, leveraging or managing data and AI products to drive business value with a proven track record of success
• 2+ years of product experience with search, knowledge management, content discovery, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), conversational AI, or related products
• Demonstrated understanding of search and retrieval concepts, including user intent, relevance and ranking, metadata and taxonomy, content quality, source attribution, access controls, and feedback loops
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative research and product analytics to improve search success, answer quality, zero-result rates, click-through and adoption
• Proven ability to navigate difficult situations with competing stakeholder needs and across multiple audiences, including individual contributors, managers, and executives
• Excellent organization, communication, and presentation and stakeholder-management skills
• Knowledge of modern data and AI Infrastructure and related processes, including basic cloud knowledge such as Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or similar platforms
• 2+ years of hands of SQL development skills and experience
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies and SCRUM

The salary range for this position is $109,300 - $140,000
The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
