Job Summary
Caterpillar has an exciting opportunity for a Communications Specialist. As a Communications Specialist, you will work to create employee communications content and participate in the execution of employee communications programs within the organization. This work is a key function of the division that allows for true engagement and collaboration across the organization. This position supports the communications team to execute internal communications plans in support of our strategy and business goals. What You Will Do:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and advising on the suitability of approaches for communication efforts.
- Tracking and analyzing metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
- Creating content for employee communication channels; ensuring that messaging and branding are consistent across all channels.
- Developing and distributing communications materials, such as written communications, presentation materials, etc. to deliver key messages.
What You Have:
- Communication & Influence: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively across audiences, applying strong listening, messaging, and influencing techniques to drive understanding and alignment
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Trust Building: Proven ability to build trusted relationships, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide thoughtful, credible guidance to stakeholders
- Internal Communications Expertise: Working knowledge of internal communications strategies, channels, and best practices, including development and delivery of employee-facing content and campaigns
- Content Development & Editorial Skills: Strong copywriting and editing capabilities with experience developing content across formats and tailoring messaging for diverse audiences
- Planning, Organization & Execution: Ability to manage multiple priorities, structure work effectively, and execute communication plans with attention to detail and deadlines
- Data Insight & Continuous Improvement: Ability to interpret communication metrics, assess effectiveness, and apply insights to improve messaging, engagement, and outcomes
Education: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
Additional Info:
- The primary location for this position is Irving, TX
- This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
- Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
- Sponsorship is not available
- International and Domestic travel up to 5%

Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
