ABOUT THE ROLE
The Texas Travel Alliance (TTA) is looking for a creative and digitally fluent Brand & Marketing Manager to own the organization’s visual identity, content output, and communications ecosystem. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a varied environment — equally comfortable in design tools, email platforms, and social scheduling, with the initiative to manage multiple workflows independently.
You’ll be the primary steward of the Texas Travel Alliance (TTA) and Texas Commercial Airport Association (TCAA) brands across every channel: social media, email marketing, event materials, and web. This role reports to the Chief Public Affairs Officer and collaborates closely with the executive team, membership, and external partners.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Social media — manage content calendar, design graphics, schedule and publish across social channels; ensure consistent brand voice
Email marketing — build and deploy campaigns in Constant Contact; produce the monthly member newsletter, event & organizational updates, and legislative news
Event marketing & production support — create promotional and print materials for TTA conferences and events; manage vendor communications
Legislative communications — work in Quorum to support PAC communications, legislative summaries, and session updates
Website content updates — manage and update webpages with relevant info pertaining to events, programs, organizational updates, and more
Asset library — maintain organized folder structure across all events, campaigns, and content types; uphold brand standards across all templates

Requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
3–5 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or creative role — ideally at an association, nonprofit, DMO, or tourism organization
Demonstrated design skills with proficiency in Canva and Adobe Illustrator
Skilled in writing copy across formats — social captions, email campaigns, web content, newsletter summaries
Experience managing email marketing platforms (Constant Contact or similar)
Organized and self-directed — able to manage multiple recurring workflows simultaneously
Event support — comfortable owning logistics details like vendor tracking and assisting with day-of production tasks
Bachelor’s degree or education/experience equivalent
NICE TO HAVE
Background in Texas travel, tourism, or hospitality
Experience with AI tools to support content production and research

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
This is a full-time position, salary commensurate with skills and experience. Competitive Benefits available. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Occasional in person team meetings in Austin, TX are required. Participation in regional member events is expected, and travel to and attendance at all Texas Travel Alliance (TTA) events is a condition of employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical requirements include visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard. Subject to sitting, standing, lifting, and walking to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily a work from home environment with required attendance at periodic offsite meetings and events. Candidate must have transportation to and from offsite meetings/events.
