Description
Wilsonart isseeking an Associate Product Manager for our High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) manufacturing product line. This role supports physical product development, SKU management, and lifecycle optimization within a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
The position partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to drive profitability, manage product changes, and support new product introductions for a tangible, engineered material product portfolio.
Note: This role focuses on physical product management within a manufacturing environment (High-Pressure Laminate). This is not a software or IT product management position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing new product introductions to ensure that stated timelines are met
- Identify opportunities for price realization, mix improvement, and cost recovery
- Work with Supply Chain and Operations to analyze product cost structures and variances
- Works with Product, Operations, and Sales to manage the non-promoted HPL portfolio, including product exceptions, special customer requests, and end of life
- Evaluate impact of materials and production changes on profitability
- Identify root causes and quantify financial impact of quality issues, e.g. defects, claims
- Works with Product, Marketing, and Technical Services to manage HPL product and technical information in print and on the web
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational/project management skills
- Strong computer proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
- Ability to perform competitive analysis and marketing research
- Knowledge of marketing methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; at ease with all levels within the company and with customers
- Compelling public speaking skills
- Ability to develop collaborative relations across departments and levels of the organization
- Ability to lead and execute the new product introduction process
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted in place of degree.
Experience:
1+ years in Marketing, Operations, or Project Management

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with physical or manufactured products (e.g., building materials, industrial products, consumer goods)
- Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environments
- Experience working with product SKUs, cost structures, or materials
