Position Summary: The Media & Marketing Coordinator assists with marketing and media coordination efforts in Auxiliaries Services multi-use facilities, supports business service efforts, tracks and optimizes marketing campaigns and advises on internal broadcast audio & video systems.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years experience in marketing, communication, public relations/ administration, business administration or related field. Minimum 1 year experience in event planning and production or equivalent related customer service experience. Minimum 1 year experience in web design. Experience with multi-media communications systems including broadcast radio, digital television, media displays and digital projection. Experience with techniques used in advertising, media communications, social media and public relations.
Preferred Qualifications: Good knowledge of: Techniques and procedures used in program and policy development; e.g. budgeting, planning, managing, coordinating, administrating, and providing record keeping; Developing and implementing social media strategies; Tracking and reporting on marketing performance; Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to: Promote activities using skills such as writing, advertising and design; Perform and lead others in program related activities; Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Solve problems; Establish service standards; Interpret and explain policies; Communicate effectively; Supervise others in program initiation, administration, evaluation and leadership; Prepare reports.
