The MCR Labs Marketing Manager will plan and implement a multifaceted marketing strategy by supervising day-to-day department operations and guiding team members in the completion of near-term objectives to achieve measurable long-term goals.
The individual who fills this role will be tasked with refining and executing a marketing approach that encompasses brand positioning, digital media campaigns, and community engagement with the goal of fostering thought leadership while maintaining and expanding dominance of multistate market share.
Duties and Responsibilities • Lead the Marketing team in planning, implementing, and assessing all department objectives and goals. • Facilitate collaboration between the marketing and client services teams on coordinated marketing, community engagement, and brand management initiatives. • Assist Digital Media Specialist in strategic planning as well as producing and publishing content for various digital platforms such as social media, website, newsletters, and blog. • Monitor and improve content distribution and audience engagement; utilize data to guide strategy decisions • Oversee the creation and revision of promotional literature, e.g. brochures, pamphlets, and other handouts as well as digital materials to ensure all collateral is brand-appropriate and effective. • Assist Events & Outreach Specialist in planning & coordinating events such as tradeshows, conferences, educational seminars, and company events. • Coordinate the use of promotional items to create brand awareness. • Collaborate with MCR Labs’ subject experts on presentations for clients & community. • Identifying strategic partnerships and facilitating department-wide efforts to cultivate them. • Monitor industry news and current events to identify opportunities for enhancing the company’s thought leadership status and promoting brand awareness in regional markets and nationally.
Qualifications • 5 years in marketing or a related field with some management-level experience • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Calm, polite, and positive attitude • Methodical and organized approach; Attention to detail • Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability • Passion for cannabis and the community is highly preferred

Experience developing and leading overall marketing strategy independently, working closely with senior staff, and managing small internal teams.
Excellent grasp of marketing fundamentals, visual communications, and knowledge of theoretical and practical developments.
Flexible and adaptive in the face of changing priorities, deadlines, and focus in a dynamic work environment.
Experience in combined B2B and B2C marketing and outreach.
Platform Experience should include: Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, G suite, LinkedIn/Twitter/Facebook/Instagram, Google Analytics, etc.
