THE OPPORTUNITY: Digital Marketing Manager / Director
The Digital Marketing manager is a key role in driving traffic and revenue for the Direct to Consumer (DTC) business, and generating demand for retail and distribution partners. The opportunity will focus heavily on email marketing and website / ecommerce optimization, inclusive of promotions. This cross-functional collaborator will have a substantial impact on the success of K&N Engineering as we expand our digital presence.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Planning, implementing and monitoring our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels
Manage the growth and health of the email list to maximize its impact on overall revenue
Manage the e-commerce website optimization, including A/B testing of upsells, cross-sells, and online promotions. This will also include conversion-rate optimization, design & UX, landing pages, etc.
Work with the digital agency to execute the most efficient and effective mix of paid media including PPC, retargeting, programmatic and like digital marketing tools
Work with leadership to develop and monitor the digital marketing budget, ensuring all campaigns fall within the proscribed expense
Develop A/B testing plans for email and paid media to continue to improve efficiency and productivity of the advertising dollars
Hands-on experience working with ecommerce platforms, preferably Magento
Work with stakeholders to plan, manage and execute product specials, pricing strategy and promotional calendar
Prepare accurate reports reflecting the KPIs for paid media and email marketing
Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting digital marketing; make recommendations on improvements accordingly
Work with the larger digital team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE: Requirements, Qualifications & Personal Attributes
Education: Marketing or related degree preferred
Experience: 4-7+ years of experience in a position involving ecommerce optimization and email marketing
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices and website analytics
Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
Experience with ESPs and other marketing platforms (Marketo preferred)
Commitment to collaboration as a way to achieve objectives
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with paid media a plus
Solid analytical chops, able to read and communicate insights into the results.
A willingness to go the extra mile and do what it takes to get the job done.
