Under the direction of the Director of Digital Strategy, the Assistant Director of Digital Marketing has responsibility for marketing strategy development, tactical execution, and analytics and measurement of the university’s targeted digital marketing efforts to prospective students, both on ground and online. The individual will work closely with the university’s Recruiting and Admissions function to support all recruitment marketing requirements. The individual will be integral contributor to recruitment marketing planning, development and implementation activities.
The regular hours for this position are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary due to the needs of the University or the department.
Collaborates with Admissions and Marketing and Communications colleagues to develop a thorough and manageable recruitment marketing plan that aligns with university needs and resources.
Implements and manages targeted digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
Oversight of creative elements of recruitment marketing advertising outreach.
Consistently monitors and measures marketing campaign performance to achieve identified enrollment goals and objectives.
Generate consistent reporting and updates for leadership.
Capture and maintain lead tracking data and performance to consistently optimize campaigns and outreach.
Coordination with university functions to support lead development, tracking and conversion.
Collaborate with colleagues to create integrated outreach via all digital platforms, including web and social media.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Individual must possess knowledge, skills and ability to be able to successfully perform the essential functions of the position, or be able to explain or demonstrate how the essential functions will be performed with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Direct experience planning and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.
Direct experience in the use of all major digital platforms for advertising purposes.
Experience promoting online educational programs.
Thorough understanding of digital marketing space, including platforms, ROI measurement, lead tracking and analytics reporting.
Proven record of generating customized and actionable analytics reports.
Excellent writing and communications skills.
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred or any combination of education and experience that provides the required skills and ability. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in digital platform marketing, preferably in the online educational market. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and meet CGU’s authorized driver’s requirements.
