The Marketing and Communications Assistant will work with the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and the College of Business Administration on website content updates, social media account management and various writing and editing projects. This position will create compelling and engaging content for the school's social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. In addition, this position will assist with the Marketing and Communications team on integrated marketing communications.
Develop and curate content for the school's social media posts
Provide live coverage of events and activities for social media
Contribute to the school's social media strategy
Create a social media content calendar for the school
Moderate community conversation and identify trends in social media
Monitor and analyze the school's social media performance
Stay up to date on the latest trends and new features in the various social media platforms
Professional writing for various publications and messaging
Updates to website content ensuring all information is correct and accurate
The position requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and technical proficiency across social media platforms. Excellent professional writing skills; strong social media background; at least one year of related experience in creating content for social media; Drupal experience preferred.Photography experience helpful.
