AFP seeks an engaging, creative, self-motivated individual to join our Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator is a key member specifically positioned to assist in executing tactical marketing objectives, email communications, marketing content, and organizing processes. This position works closely with the Senior Director, Marketing and Brand Management, and Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Public Policy, to implement a marketing strategy to 30,000+ members and beyond.
What you will do
Helps to strengthen and advance the identity, brand and reputation of AFP to target audiences
Supports the marketing department by scheduling and organizing the creation of content for print, web, video, etc.
Works with graphic designer to help deliver content.
Monitors campaigns and reports periodically.
Assists in management of digital storage system of content.
Works cross-departmentally to serve the marketing needs of the organization.
Provides general support to the marketing team as needed.

What you need to be successful
BA/BS in marketing or communications or equivalent experience
2-3 years of marketing experience, including social media expertise
Possesses strong writing ability, oral communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and excellent proofing and editing skills
Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail
Able to remain creative, diplomatic and calm under pressure
Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional department and to foster communication and collaboration internally and externally
Able to take initiative and act proactively
Able to prioritize and execute tasks
Able to work with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of management with credibility
Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity and change
Self-starter with self-confidence, enthusiasm, and strong customer service orientation
Social media skills
