The Consumer Marketing Manager (Vice President) is responsible for driving incremental sales and highly profitable programs for The Home Depot Consumer Credit Card from strategy development to implementation and final reporting of existing card member (ECM) marketing programs that drive card usage, engagement and increased spend throughout the card member lifecycle.
Drive strategy, development and oversee execution of new and ongoing existing card member marketing programs. Monitor program progress against set goals and work with internal teams to modify strategy to optimize program performance.
Manage relationship with counterparts at The Home Depot for ongoing support and alignment on marketing programs.
Participate in the development of annual marketing plans and the business process to secure funding to initiate marketing campaigns. Responsible for managing marketing expense budget and incremental sales targets.
Own the campaign tracking and reporting process and documentation for U.S. marketing programs and provide oversight and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Strategic Marketing, Decision Management, Finance, Risk, Partner Management and Reporting and Analytics to support all marketing campaign deliverables required to drive credit sales and increase credit penetration.
Deliver against program-specific sales goals within budget, on time and aligning with partner needs and objectives.
Drive test and learn roadmap with cross-functional teams from targeting, segmentation and creative/messaging and deliver compelling and customer-focused creative concepts.
Provide thought leadership on marketing channel strategies for assigned programs. Experience required with direct mail, email and digital asset marketing processes and best practices.
Participate in weekly Internal Marketing and Joint Marketing meetings and prepare reporting and commentary for Monthly Business Review meetings with The Home Depot.
Become the subject matter expert for partner executed digital campaigns and manage applicable Fair Lending and Legal approvals.
Ensure adherence to all compliance, regulatory and information security standards and protocols and maintain required program documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in marketing, ideally including marketing program/campaign management
Proven analytical, project and process management skills
Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Self-starter who also has a demonstrated ability to work successfully in team environment and drive results from team
Strong written and verbal communications skills, with ability to interact appropriately with people across different functions and multiple levels across organization, as well as with the partner
Ability to develop and present information to internal and external parties in a clear and concise manner
