The Senior Marketing/PR Specialist is part of a team working in a professional, high-performance environment. This position supports a department, major technology initiative, transformation project or program of similar scope with overall marketing communications and is responsible for a wide variety of functions that support and build effectiveness in strategic marketing and public relations communications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide internal communications counsel, planning and implementation, primarily in the areas of Technology and Operations.
Formulate communications plans that support change management and progression from current state to future state, including goals, key messages, communications channels and cascades, action steps, deliverables and timelines.
Develop and implement processes that create standard work, support change management and assess impact of communications planning and deliverables. Engage in continuous assessment, improvement and learning to ensure high impact and success of communications activities. Integrate and align work with partner organizations within Health Information Technology, Medical Center operations and other groups.
Inform and engage various internal audiences by developing content including, but not limited to, leadership emails, newsletters, websites, slide presentations, videos, print and digital collaterals, and human interest stories.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field required.
Experience: 3-5 years of marketing, PR or ad agency experience.
Certification: None required.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
