The position will be responsible for supporting a variety of marketing and branding initiatives on behalf of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge and The Dodd Trophy.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Branding and Signage
•Manage brand standards across all mediums, including digital efforts, design pieces and environmental signage
•Develop comprehensive signage and branding plans for all PBI events (including all ancillary events).
•Manage all signage projects from start to completion
Assessment of needs
Install and Removal
•Forecast and maintain event specific signage budgets
•Design and layout of elements as needed
•Track inventory of existing signage
•Maintain relationships with numerous signage vendors
•Create detailed recap post event
Design and Print Job Trafficking/Management
•Internally manage concepting and needs for design projects
•Traffic production of projects between design agency and PBI
•Daily management of partnership with design firm
•Manage contractual hours with design agency on an annual basis
Digital Marketing Content Strategy
•Video strategy, capture and editing of bowl content for distribution via social and other channels
•Development of CEO’s video series during Football Season
•Help to develop strategic content plans for all digital assets
•Insure all initiatives meet brand standards and are integrated across the department
•Assist in management of Marketing Intern
•Oversight and management of PBI’s four websites
•Perform updates to site as needed (WordPress)
•Daily management of partnership with web provider
•Integrate with Sales department to fulfill sales obligations
•Manage contractual hours with web provider on an annual basis
Email Marketing Management
•Create, manage and market the organization’s year-round enewsletter
•Manage all marketing and sales e-blasts with participating teams playing in our games
•Manage all company-wide email marketing campaigns, including design and execution
Branding Team Management
•Recruit and manage team of Bowl Week signage volunteers
•Organize Bowl Week shifts
•Train on proper usage and standards
Additional Partnership Management
•Assist COO in management of College Football Hall of Fame partnership
•Assist COO in management of merchandiser partnership
Design and Video
•Extensive signage design and layout for all properties
•Video Capture and Editing for selected properties throughout the year
Other project work as assigned by the CEO or COO
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:A candidate must possess ALL of the following qualifications to be considered for this position. The requirements/qualifications indicated below are essential to the performance of the job description.
A candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years in a full-time position, with marketing and promotions experience in a sports or related organization. A candidate must be goal-driven, solutions-oriented, have strong time management skills, a willingness to work a non-traditional schedule on weekends and around holidays, and a willingness to learn, develop and possess a positive attitude. A candidate should have experience working with a design, event or advertising agency previously.
A candidate must have significant experience in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, with a functioning knowledge of both. You will be required to submit examples of your work in these areas that demonstrate your abilities in working with vector and raster images.
A candidate should have proven expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners and co-workers. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills are required.
A candidate should have the ability to learn, use and work with in-house computer programs and new computer programs as needed, including, without limitation, Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. A candidate must also have the ability to understand and manage employees who use desktop publishing and graphic layout programs including Adobe Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Not required, but preferable is a working knowledge of basic video editing software

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-5 years of experience in the field of marketing.
Proven self-motivated team player with a proven ability to meet and exceed aggressive individual and team goals.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience with social media content management
Experience with social media strategy
Experience shooting and editing video content
Experience in marketing and promotions within an event context
Ability to quickly develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, corporate partners/sponsors and co-workers.
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
Solutions oriented, problem solving mentality a must.
Must be creative, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and strong desire to succeed.
