Develop and execute digital and data-driven marketing strategies for Mercer in Hong Kong & Taiwan marketplace aligned with the 2020 Country Strategy Plans. Includes execute of strategies around public relations, web content/user experience, social media presence and a broad cross-section of client events and 3rd party events/sponsorships. Measure and track the ROI/effectiveness of marketing spend. Responsible for demand and lead generation efforts designed to drive sales pipeline in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Employ market research and various analytic practices to identify and develop key insights into clients, the marketplace, competitors, macro trends and market opportunities.
Create targeted, compelling value propositions and marketing-driven sales campaigns. Works with Country Leadership Teams, Growth Teams and Regional Marketing Teams to develop and integrate marketing plans into local growth strategies.
Grow the Mercer brand covering the full Health, Wealth and Career value proposition in the country to ensure increase in share of voice, brand recognition and media coverage.
Manage relationships with local agencies where appropriate for:
Internal contacts: Marketing and Sales Leadership Team, Geography and LOB business leaders
External contacts: PR, Social Media and other marketing related agencies
Post-secondary education. Degree in a related business, marketing or public relations
Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese is a must; good to be eloquent in Cantonese
Experience in the marketing activities in Hong Kong and Taiwan for multinational/ sizable companies
12+ years of experience as Marketing Leader preferably within a B2B or consulting business
Strong marketing strategy skills. Ability to provide leadership and counsel to Market Leadership Team
Demonstrated expertise in brand development, digital initiatives, PR, marketing analytics, direct response and lead generation
Strong writing and project management skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact in a team environment with all levels of employees including senior management
Business minded marketer with financial acumen and solid excel skills
Proven ability to influence and serve as a strategic thinker to senior management
Marketing and Public Relations experience
Experience working with a global community of marketing and sales professionals using data and insights to drive qualified leads into the pipeline and manage nurturing along the buyer journey
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Detail-oriented and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
Able to lead through influence working closely with marketing and sales, finance, corporate IT and the business
Experience working with CRM, marketing automation and content management system tools
Experience in B2B2C marketing (a plus)
