We are accepting applications for a full-time, fixed-term position as Athletics Marketing and Promotions Coordinator in the Office of Athletics.
Responsibilities: The Athletics Marketing and Promotions Coordinator is responsible for the marketing and promotions of Eagle Athletics and will join with senior athletics staff in activities related to sponsorship sales, promotional activities, fund raising, publicity, and event management. Responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive promotional strategy designed to generate enhanced spectator support and revenue. Serves as the events manager for some home contests.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 1 year experience in Athletic Administration, Marketing, or Advertising (internship experience is acceptable). Demonstrated administrative and management skills in an athletic setting (Collegiate or professional). Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Must be well organized. Computer skills necessary.
Desired Qualifications: Ability to actively work with all constituents of Morehead State University. Knowledge of OVC rules and regulations.
