This position is responsible for driving digital marketing strategy and initiatives for a portfolio of more than 60 Harvard Business School Executive Education (HBS EE) programs offered in Boston, China, India, and Europe.
Responsibilities include managing the strategy, execution, and analysis of a cross-channel media plan, including display advertising, print, podcast, radio, out-of-home, paid search, search engine optimization and email. The position requires close collaboration with internal marketing team, external media buyers and advertising agencies, as well as management oversight of an internal team of two and a multi-million dollar media budget.
Collaborate closely with program Marketing Managers, media agencies and creative agency to design and deliver innovative marketing strategies that differentiate HBS EE in the market and drive qualified program prospects and submitted applications
Direct the efforts of outside agencies who are responsible for creating, executing, optimizing, and reporting on plans
Design and execute email marketing campaigns and customer journeys that flow from marketing strategy
Drive targeting/segmentation strategies
Provide detailed analysis and reporting for optimization efforts
Collaborate with Analytics team to provide regular analysis (trends, KPIs) for email and display campaigns
Collaborate with key stakeholders, internal IT resources, and external vendors (as needed) to iterate and optimize the customer journey from awareness to consideration to program applicant
Direct freelance writers, proofreaders, and other outside vendors
Support additional targeting and data segmentation needs for marketing events and direct mail campaigns
Lead key special projects, such as HBS's yearly participation in the Financial Times Executive Education Rankings
Work closely with the marketing leadership team, and other Executive Education and HBS staff

BA/BS 8+ years of marketing experience leading integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Experience with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HTML, SQL, web analytics packages, and database marketing preferred. Experience with digital media buying tactics (including programmatic media) and lead nurturing preferred. Solid understanding of web UX and design best practices preferred. Strong strategic, analytical, creative problem solving, and project management skills a must.
Must be extremely organized and have demonstrated initiative to improve marketing performance, use innovative marketing strategies, and collaborate across departments to improve business results.
