Marketing: Responsible for directing the development, promotion, and implementation of a comprehensive and integrated marketing plan for offices within the Division of Finance & Administration. Coordinates marketing efforts and promotes collaboration across all offices. Designs the execution and evaluation process for a wide variety of strategies and tactics pertaining to marketing, public relations, print, online, and digital components. Advises and assists senior leadership in F&A in establishing goals and developing strategies for future development and growth.
Web/Advertising: Develops and maintains a comprehensive web presence. Creates and maintains content on all pages ensuring information is timely, accurate, and coherent. Monitors web analytics and makes recommendations for improvement. Manages advertising both in internal and external publications.
Communication/PR: Develops and manages communications plan for Division-led University-wide initiatives with a focus on the various audiences and user experiences. Works with University Communications and other campus partners to ensure consistency. Develop content for internal and external communication activities including press releases, publications, and presentations. Supervises and works with printers, designers, photographers, and various multi-media productions suppliers, writing all specifications. Works with departments on project execution. Represents Division on committees across campus.
Leadership: Provides leadership and guidance to F&A marketing representatives to fulfill department marketing and communications requests. Assesses current marketing trends to develop workshops and training for marketing representatives throughout the division to effectively market services to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Supervises daily office activities and coordinates activities among various contracted groups.
Surveys: Create surveys, analyzes results, and makes recommendations for future planning.
Bachelor’s degree and six years of experience related to media, communications, and/or marketing services or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to 10 years.
Successful track record with project management. Experience in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns within projected timelines. Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with a broad range of constituents. Skilled in public speaking and ability to be a spokesperson for the division. Demonstrated experience leading teams and motivating others to accomplish goals. Familiarity with gathering data, analyzing trends and developing strategies.
