Description
The OpportunityDo you love solving complex problems and helping small businesses grow? Chase serves over 7 million small businesses in the US, and you will have a rare opportunity to materially improve how our customers engage with their credit cards from day one - with direct accountability for driving early card usage and spend.
As the VP of Account Experience, you will own the end-to-end product, strategy, and execution of how our small business customers interact with their credit cards at Chase. You'll own the post-approval experience that converts approved customers into active card users - from account setup through ongoing engagement.
You'll have executive sponsorship and the resources of Chase behind you, with the space to shape the product strategy, define the roadmap, and ship at scale.
What You'll Own
- Own the customer experience from post-approval through ongoing account management, with accountability for driving early card usage and spend and ongoing feature engagement across accounts
- Make it easier for small businesses to manage their card accounts, by setting the vision, defining the multi-year roadmap, and shipping features to address customer needs
- Build and lead a team of product managers, establishing operating cadence and team culture from the ground up
- Reduce call volume and improve self-service tools by identifying and eliminating friction across the account lifecycle
What You'll Have
- Direct partnership with senior leadership to shape product strategy
- Dedicated Design, Engineering, and Data & Analytics resources
- Direct visibility into Card portfolio P&L management
- Close partnership with Digital, Operations, Servicing, and Marketing teams
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 7+ years in product management developing products and launching at scale
- 3+ years of people leadership experience: You've hired, managed and developed product teams across levels
- You are talented at setting strategy and shipping the features; you are equally comfortable presenting roadmaps to senior leadership and reviewing product specs with your team
- You are a strong cross-functional partner who reaches across teams to problem-solve and you set the bar high for operating with quality and integrity
- You love data - you get fired up by identifying problems, validating hypotheses and measuring impact
What Makes You Stand Out:
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- You have experience launching small business or financial products that drove measurable improvements in customer engagement or spend (e.g., improved activation rates, increased transaction frequency, reduced time-to-first purchase)
- You are passionate about small business and have shipped products that measurably resolved business owner pain points; you have improved conversion funnels, reduced friction, or driven self-service adoption with quantifiable results
- You are SQL proficient or have hands-on experience with analytics tools (e.g., Tableau)
- You have a track record of using experimentation and testing to drive product decisions, with specific examples of experiments that changed product direction or challenged initial assumptions
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are not able to provide immigration sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. Final job grade level and corporate title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
