What the day will look like
As a UK-EMEA Regional Product Manager, your day is dynamic and collaborative. You'll work closely with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive product innovation in the insurance sector. Your focus will be on aligning technology solutions with business strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and championing digital transformation across the UK and EMEA regions. You'll balance strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on leadership to deliver impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
Typical Daily Activities:
- Meet with senior leadership to align product roadmaps with strategic goals and market trends.
- Represent the technology team in collaborator meetings, promoting transparency and accountability.
- Communicate product vision and strategy to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze market research and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities for product differentiation.
- Lead cross-functional sessions with engineering, architecture, and business SMEs to define and prioritise product features.
- Guide teams through the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Advocate for integrated technology platforms and drive adoption among users.
- Monitor product performance using KPIs and customer feedback, driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with London insurance market regulations and industry standards.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and keep product initiatives on track with business goals.
This role is designed to act as a strategic connector between key business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that technology solutions directly support business growth and operational efficiency. This includes representing the Technology team in stakeholder meetings and aligning regional efforts with global objectives. The Product Manager is expected to be a product evangelist, communicating vision and strategy both internally and externally, and guiding teams through collaborative problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the insurance industry
- Solid understanding of the London insurance market, including end-to-end processes, regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and empower cross-functional teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, technical problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Highly developed communication skills, with proficiency in executive presentations.
- Advanced negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the insurance sector.
