You are a strategic leader who thrives in dynamic environments, driving business performance and operational excellence for Chase's youth products. Join our team to shape the future of youth banking and make a lasting impact on families nationwide.As a Product Director within the Student Growth Segment team, you will lead a cross-functional team to drive the end-to-end development of youth and family banking products that are educational, engaging, and deliver business impact. As a leader, you will challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation to create customer-centric solutions. Success in this role will result in seamless, delightful digital experiences that empower kids to learn financial responsibility, deepen parent trust and engagement with Chase products, and drive measurable growth in adoption, retention, and satisfaction within the Youth & Family segment.
In this role, you will be a strategic leader who leads ibusiness performance and operational excellence for Chase's youth banking products. You will combine product vision, customer insight, and hands-on leadership to shape the future of youth banking and create impactful experiences for families nationwide. Join our team to reimagine how young people and their parents engage with money, from first savings goals to responsible spending.
Job responsibilities
- Define and Drive Product Vision: Shape the product strategy for youth and family banking product/experiences that balance regulatory compliance, user empowerment, and brand differentiation.
- Reimagine Digital Journeys: Design intuitive, age-appropriate onboarding, account management, and parental controls that foster financial literacy and trust.
- Customer & Market Insight: Leverage design thinking and competitive benchmarking best practices to identify evolving family needs and emerging fintech trends.
- Prioritize and Deliver: Own product roadmaps, business cases, and P&L accountability for youth and family banking products.
- Measure Impact: Define and manage success metrics tied to engagement, satisfaction, retention, and responsible financial behavior.
- Lead a Small, High-Performing Team: Manage and mentor product managers alongside cross-functional teams to deliver solutions focused on family digital experiences.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with compliance, marketing, engineering, data analytics and Chase branches to ensure cohesive product execution.
- Influence stakeholders across Consumer Banking, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, and Technology to align business priorities and execution.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Proven track record delivering consumer digital experiences, ideally in fintech, banking, and/or youth-oriented platforms.
- Strong understanding of UX for multi-stakeholder products (e.g., parent + child).
- Demonstrated ability to translate insights into high-impact digital features.
- Data-driven mindset with fluency in A/B testing, analytics, and business case development.
- World-class communication and storytelling skills for senior stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate complex product, technical, and business concepts to diverse audiences, including executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate a deep passion for customers - understanding and improving customer experience, consistently advocating for their needs in product strategy.
- Tenacity in the face of challenges and ambiguity: deep expertise successfully solving difficult technical and organizational challenges to drive product delivery and measurable results.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Passion for financial education and inclusion.
- Experience building products for Gen Alpha, Gen Z, or family audiences.
- Experience with regulatory environments governing minors' accounts or family banking preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with a startup mindset.
