As the Senior Product Manager for Core Platform, you will define the vision and execution for the foundational systems powering Identity, Authentication, and Enterprise Organization Management. You will own the core framework of our platform, building the foundation that allows our largest enterprise customers to model their complex business structures and manage secure access at scale.
What you'll do (Responsibilities):
- Drive the roadmap for user identity and access management, including authentication, roles and permissions, SSO, and enterprise-grade security.
- Design and evolve scalable systems for complex organizational hierarchies, supporting multi-tenancy, parent-child account relationships, and cross-organization collaboration.
- Architect automated organization and account provisioning and de-provisioning workflows to ensure seamless user lifecycle management.
- Partner with Engineering to deliver API-first services supporting advanced RBAC, and granular entity-level permissions and to translate product strategy into scalable system design.
- Proactively manage feature lifecycles from strategic planning to product release and iteration
- Identify our customers' needs and opportunities through data analysis,stakeholder interviews, and research through quantitative and qualitative methods
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide support for escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints
- Provide clear feedback to engineers and designers with a strong systems perspective
- Communicate platform updates, migrations, and deprecations internally and externally.
- Function as the Product Owner for an Agile Scrum development team to define, deliver, build, and iterate on capabilities
- Champion reliability, security, and scalability as first-class product outcomes.
Who you are (Required Skills/Abilities):
- 3-5+ years of strong technical fluency in APIs, distributed systems, authentication/SSO protocols, permissions models, and enterprise security.
- Experience building or scaling identity and access management platforms.
- Ability to engage deeply with engineering on architectural decisions.
- Track record of driving complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to production.
- Systems thinking mindset with a bias toward building durable, reusable platform capabilities.
- Strong product management experience including work with Enterprise SaaS applications
- Past development experience and SQL proficiency is a plus
- A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to bring out this quality in others
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams
