Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Product Manager who can lead the maintenance of various GPU server products. This is a key product management role focused on server/storage product solutions where communication among remote teams and on-site product leadership for our development teams is critical to develop and enable operations to fulfill roadmap expectation. Ultimately, the Sr. Product Manager will help to design and maintain the infrastructure for EMEA Customer PoC Lab.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and supporting various GPU server products
• Leverage strong technical background to create technical product requirements for AI data center infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements, industry trends and business requirements
• Escalate critical issues to high level management and vendors for solution as needed
• Develop training sessions to ensure sales awareness on Supermicro system solution offering
• Provide 3rd level customer support to both internal and external as needed
• Helping to design and maintain infrastructure for EMEA Customer PoC Lab
• Setup Proof-of-Concept for customers, benchmarking and proposing tailored solution, and providing support during testing period
• Strong software skills for running HPC/AI benchmarks
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years in server hardware knowledge and hands on work on servers/networking equipment
• 8+ years of Linux/Network administration skills with proven troubleshooting and optimization skills
• 8+ years' experience with TCP/IP protocol stack, IPv4-IPv6, DHCP, PXE and other application-level protocols
• 8+ years' experience with HPC, AI, Cloud, and networking architecture (Ethernet/InfiniBand)
• Trusted technology advisor and architect for tailored HPC/AI solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thinking out of the box is a must
• Positive attitude, desire to learn, time management, and strong interpersonal skills are a plus
• Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
• Must be solution-oriented, a team player with the ability to identify and escalate issues in a timely manner, and be proactive in driving solutions
• Full professional proficiency in English required, additional languages (German, preferred)
• Must be punctual and detail-oriented
• Must possess an excellent ability to follow-up on planned actions
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must, able to communicate effectively with customers to promote and provide solutions
