Job Description:Department Overview
The Business IT Platform Section is responsible for planning and driving the enterprise IT platform that supports internal business operations. Our scope includes the standardization and deployment of cloud services such as Microsoft 365, implementation of productivity-enhancing applications, data integration with core internal ERP systems, and a strong focus on the development and application of AI technologies. As a central part of the company's IT strategy, we collaborate across departments to build a secure, stable, and user-friendly next-generation IT environment.

Why We Hire
Our section is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the planning, infrastructure coordination, and internal promotion of cloud services within the Corporate IT division. This role requires strong leadership in driving adoption and engagement among business users, based on the understanding of the roadmap of the cloud services managed by Biz IT Solution group. Internal campaigns and training programs will be planned and executed in close collaboration with the product planning team.
We welcome candidates who are passionate about driving impactful products as part of Rakuten's Corporate IT team.
Position Details
- Monitor and analyze the product roadmap of the cloud services in charge and align it with internal deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operation teams to ensure smooth product implementation and maintenance.
- Work closely with the product planning team to design and execute internal campaigns and training programs for business users.
- Analyze data usage and propose improvements for better user experience.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across departments.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Product Manager, at a senior level.
- Strong background in cloud services (e.g. Microsoft Products).
- Proven leadership in business-user-facing product initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
- General knowledge of AI technologies and hands-on experience with AI-related products (e.g., Copilot).
- Passion for driving impactful products as part of Rakuten's Corporate IT.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager for the cloud services for internal use
- Prior experience as a Product Manager for M365-related products
- Deep knowledge of the Microsoft 365/M365 Copilot product suite
