Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you'll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.
Your Impact
Axon Records is our state-of-the-art records management system. As a Senior Product Manager for Records Cross-Product Search, you will play a critical role in enhancing officer and public safety by ensuring that first responders have timely, accurate information to make informed decisions in high-stakes situations.
In this role, you'll work closely with public safety personnel to deeply understand their workflows and challenges, then design and deliver solutions that leverage cutting-edge technology to meet their needs. We're seeking an experienced product manager with a proven ability to define and deliver complex software initiatives that span multiple teams and functions.
You will guide engineering with insights grounded in user research, helping to shape key workflows and features. Collaboration is central to this role-you'll partner with other product managers, UX designers, engineers, and our Professional Services team to deliver a high-quality, enterprise-grade system. As we roll out Axon Records across agencies nationwide, you'll engage directly with end users, prioritize their feedback, build your team's roadmap, and drive the continuous delivery of impactful features and improvements.
Work Location: This role is based out of our Seattle, WA office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.
What You'll Do:
- Scale intelligence for first responders - Axon delivers integrated experiences across its product ecosystem that enable law enforcement agencies to access critical data collected by federal and state entities about the people and property first responders encounter. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of how and why first responders use this information, then create and execute a strategy to scale these capabilities to customers across the United States and internationally.
- Develop a plan and roadmap to onboard partners to our Search APIs - Axon Records serves as the institutional memory of the law enforcement agencies it serves. You will help agencies get more value out of the information they so carefully curate in the system by exposing that information in the right way and advise on the most effective ways for partners to surface it.
- Lead your feature team - You will work with your cross-functional team to prioritize the right problems to solve and specify detailed functionality with designers and engineers. You will ensure that there is a clear path to deploying new functionality to customers and making them successful on the product. You will define success quantitatively and install mechanisms to assess your progress.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on national crime data - As you ramp, you will increasingly be called upon to provide your well-informed perspective on the access and usage of sensitive crime data that law enforcement personnel routinely use. You will work with our Sales and deployment teams to craft and communicate the right message to customers.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software product management, shipping SaaS solutions with high level of complexity
- Effective communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Organizational skills: Highly organized, disciplined, and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- User-centric mindset: A deep commitment to a user-centric approach, focusing on driving outcomes for our users and their communities.
- Analytical thinking: An analytical mindset with the ability to perform product analysis independently using data analysis tools
