Senior Business Development Manager
About the Role
Redgrave LLP, the leading law firm focused on Information Law, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive business development initiatives, support strategic pursuits, and elevate the client experience. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders to advance highvalue opportunities and execute programs that strengthen client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Enablement
- Identify and advance highvalue client and prospect opportunities.
- Conduct research and prepare BD briefings, prospect intelligence, and meeting prep materials.
- Track active opportunities and ensure timely followup and coordination.
- Develop tailored outreach materials, talking points, and strategic insights.
- Conference & Event Support
- Lead planning for major industry conferences and sponsored events.
- Manage schedules, sponsorship deliverables, and briefing materials.
- Support client and prospect engagement opportunities at events.
- Coordinate postevent debriefs and ensure followup actions are completed.
Strategic Pursuits & Proposals
- Manage endtoend pitches, proposals, and RFP responses.
- Serve as project manager to ensure timely, highquality deliverables.
- Maintain and enhance BD assets, including bios and experience summaries.
Client Programs & Engagement
- Design and manage clientfacing programs such as alerts, webinars, CLEs, and education campaigns.
- Collaborate with subjectmatter experts to deliver relevant content.
- Oversee logistics and followup for all client engagement initiatives.
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Manage opportunity tracking, dashboards, and BD reporting.
- Use client and market data to inform strategy and decisionmaking.
- Ensure CRM data accuracy and segmentation.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a senior member of the Marketing & BD team.
- Partner with the CMO and senior timekeepers on key BD initiatives.
- Handle sensitive matters with sound judgment and discretion.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or pursuit management within a professional services or law firm environment.
- Experience leading strategic pursuits and managing complex proposals or RFPs.
- Experience supporting major conferences and events, including pre-event planning and post-event follow up.
- Proven ability to develop client-facing programs such as webinars, CLEs, alerts, or thought leadership content.
- Experience with Information Law (eDiscovery, data privacy, information governance, AI governance) preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing abilities.
- Ability to develop compelling, tailored BD materials and insights.
- High degree of discretion and sound judgment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and BD analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic, virtual, and collaborative environment.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours for time sensitive initiatives, events, or deadlines.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lifts objects weighing up to ten pounds
- Frequently reaches and grasps with arms and hands; occasionally stoops and bends; must have manual dexterity
- Ability to closely examine and inspect materials
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Ability to travel as needed
- Frequently uses a keyboard to enter or transform words or data
- Work is generally performed in a remote office environment with an occasional requirement to work in a normal office environment
