Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
As BU QCS Product Manager you will be reporting to the QCS Portfolio Manager. As QCS product manager you manage the offering(s) of the BU QCS throughout their lifecycle in line with market needs and division, business line, and business unit strategies and targets. You will support the business results by overseeing all steps of the offering lifecycle, including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. You will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of the products in the portfolio. You will collaborate with relevant functions to ensure that the strategic plan for each product is effectively executed.

This role is contributing to the BU QCS / Business Line Pulp, Paper and Fiber
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Responsible for the profitability and lifecycle of the offerings
- Owns the technical and market specification for the offering and determines an offering business plan that supports sustainable growth in line with the BU Strategy
- Owns the lifecycle management process, analyzes current offering, defines and tracks performance metrics, plans appropriate measures (e.g., enhancements, cost reductions, and phase-outs), and makes decisions on offering obsolescence and end-of life to ensure that current and future market requirements are met and to maximize the profitability.
- Sets targets and monitors offering costs and gives inputs to process excellence function (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Production) to maximize competitiveness and profitability.
- Owns and approves defined offering development process stage gates.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, or related roles in the Pulp and Paper Industry.
- Experience in product Lifecycle Management. Experience in Measurement and Controls is an important qualification for consideration.
