Description
Join Connected Commerce to help transform how Chase customers move money using real-time payment rails. In this highly visible role, you'll lead end-to-end product delivery-from operational design and GTM strategy to external network partnerships-driving a multi‑year roadmap in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.As Vice President, Product Manager/General Manager in Connected Commerce you will work on a new product leveraging real time payment rails that will significantly impact how Chase customers move money. You will join a team of skilled product managers on a 0 to 1 product build, partnering across Zelle, multiple internal functions, and external network partners to drive execution over the course of a multi-year release roadmap. You should have a proven track record of impactful feature delivery, experience executing in a highly matrixed environment with significant cross-impact, be highly organized, a strong communicator, excellent relationship builder, flexible in a fast-paced environment, and a self-starter.
Job responsibilities:
- Design and build operational processes, playbooks, and frameworks from scratch to support product launch; partner with operations teams on customer service, fraud/risk operations, and operational SLAs
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for consumer and commercial segments, including product positioning, messaging, pricing strategy, and launch execution
- Manage existing partnerships with Zelle, RTP network, and other external payment network partners; serve as primary relationship owner for key external stakeholders
- Work regularly with your 'quad' partners (engineering, analytics, design) to drive progress, solve problems, and continuously iterate on product and operational solutions
- Partner with marketing teams to develop channel strategies, sales enablement materials, and customer acquisition approaches for both consumer and commercial segments
- Maintain deep knowledge of product vision, strategy, roadmap, technical implementation, operations, and competitive environment; stay current on industry news and market developments
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and delays proactively across product, operations, and GTM workstreams; begin mitigation planning immediately
- Foster a business owner's mindset; maintain ultimate responsibility for product delivery, operational readiness, and go-to-market success with impeccable execution standards
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 7+ years of experience in financial services, digital, product management, operations management
- Demonstrated experience in operations design and management, including building processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks
- Proven track record of successful product launches and go-to-market execution across multiple customer segments
- Strong knowledge of payment networks, rails and market dynamics
- Experience managing external partnerships and stakeholder relationships
- Self-starter with strong written/verbal communication, a clear vision of the efficient and effective way to get things done and an iterative mindset to try, fail and pivot as needed
- Sense of ease in ambiguity and a passion for creating order out of chaos; you remain calm under pressure and tight delivery timelines
- Proven success in collaborating, influencing and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders, including team members across product, technology, design, operations, marketing, and business teams
- Proven track record of managing risk and controls
- Highly collaborative and capable of managing large, complex, cross-functional projects
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Strategy consulting experience in the Financial Services space
- Experience launching products that serve both consumer and commercial customer segments
- Background in building 0-to-1 operational capabilities
