Description
Join us to grow your impact while collaborating across data science, engineering, and business to deliver measurable outcomes.As a Product Manager within the Consumer and Community Banking Card Data & Analytics team, you lead the design and build of a scalable analytics environment for a new strategic partner, enabling robust querying, modeling, reporting, and machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities.
You partner with analysts, engineers, architects, and business leaders to translate outcomes into curated data products and insights that drive the business.
You foster a culture of continuous innovation, inclusion, and customer-centric delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product roadmap, vision, delivery, and risk management to drive business outcomes.
- Build end-to-end analytics, machine learning, and reporting platform with robust entitlements and controls.
- Partner with data owners, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant data products and generative AI solutions; communicate updates to executives and customers.
- Analyze data to extract actionable insights and connect findings to strategy; enforce data quality and centralized data management in a data lake.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories; manage JIRA-based sprints and author detailed product review documents.
- Own product performance and prioritize enhancements to meet objectives.
- Coach and mentor a junior team; promote product mindset, solution generation, prototyping, and storytelling on data and ML/AI outcomes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8 years of experience delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to influence adoption of discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and manage cross-functional stakeholders; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and hands-on experience.
- Technical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling, and data architecture.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Recognized thought leader within a related field.
- High proficiency in data querying with languages such as Python, R, Perl, and SQL.
- Experience in product development and familiarity with data environments such as AWS S3, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Experience with data pipelining, data platforms, and BI tooling across Tableau, Snowflake, and Databricks.
