Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality products that resonate with clients.As a Product Manager in the Consumer and Community Banking - Data Publishing and Processing (DPP) team, you are an integral part of the group that innovates in building data publishing and processing products and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing DPP products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers.
- Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
- Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
- Lead all phases of product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and stable data products.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business users and customers.
- Navigate complex environments with multiple cross-team dependencies, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and ETL processes.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud and Data Analytics services (Lake Formation, S3, IAM, Glue, Apache Spark, Kinesis, Kafka).
- 5+ years of experience with PySpark, Databricks, SQL, DBT, Apache Airflow, Apache Flink, Snowflake.
- 10+ years of experience building products as a Product Manager (not as an engineer).
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical/business users/customers.
- Experience working in a complex environment with multiple cross-team dependencies.
- Familiarity with API-first product design and integration patterns.
- Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements for financial enterprise data sharing.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
- Experience with data cataloging, metadata management, and entitlement services.
- Familiarity with modern data architectures, data contracts, entitlements, and cost optimization in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Experience in building products for financial services or other highly regulated industries.
