Role Overview

As a Product Manager at MODE, you will be part of our Product Management team, taking on the responsibility of making our product, BizStack, the best IoT x AI product globally. You will work closely with the Business Team to understand customer challenges, conceptualize the end-to-end customer experience using BizStack, propose necessary features, prioritize them, and collaborate with the Engineering Team to bring these ideas to life.

Since BizStack is an IoT platform, it is imperative to propose solutions tailored to various customer segments. You will develop features that support these solutions as a unified platform. This role involves complex challenges unlike those encountered in single-issue products, offering a high degree of difficulty but also a rewarding and engaging experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap and lead product development of our core product, BizStack
• Create competitive products by interacting with customers and visiting work sites
• Prioritize key initiatives and high ROI features to maximize the leverage of our BizStack offering
• Collaborate closely with other Product Managers, UX Designer, Engineering leadership, and Business Team to understand demands from customer projects
• Run weekly meetings to manage the development schedule and timeline
• Prioritize product initiatives based on a realistic assessment of engineering resource availability

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, or a similar technical role (e.g., Engineer or Technical Project Manager)
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, both in Japanese and English
• Familiarity with AI application - where it works and where it doesn't work today, with current technology

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in the B2B industry
• Experience in the IoT industry or any labor-intensive industry (e.g., Construction)
• Experience launching "new product" (v.s. incremental features) multiple times
