Description
For the Identification Friend Foe (IFF) division, we are looking for a " Product Manager Manager Assets and Deputy MSSR/MSSR-Neo (m/f/d)" at the Munich / Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.The programme area is responsible for the ATC/IFF product line and is responsible for the handling of all ATC/IFF projects, the further development of the product portfolio and the support of the sales department in the preparation of offers.
Job Description:
- The Productmanager Assets and Deputy MSSR/MSSR-Neo is responsible for the equipment required for the installation of IFF systems on various ships and shore installations (Cabinets (standard and compact), Multicontrol unit (MCU), Antennas, etc.).
 The focus here is, among other things, on the future further development of the current IFF Interrogator MSSR2000 ID and the future/successor MSSR Neo
- The Product Manager Assets leads one development team
- The role/position Deputy Product Manager MSSR and MSSR Neo consists of all relevant topics in order to support the current Productmanager
Furthermore, the Product Manager has the following tasks:
- To define the requirements for the Assets etc. in cooperation with the project managers (and for future projects with the sales/bid department)
- Setting up and tracking the budget for the necessary development activities
- Carrying out risk management
- Creating and maintaining the schedules / release plans for the development activities in cooperation with the development/bid team
- Responsibility regarding the R&D business cases
- Ensuring an HMS-compliant product life cycle
- Supporting the sales and bid team (Bid Team)
- Further development of the existing portfolio in close cooperation with the other IFF product managers/project managers, sales/bid and programme management
- Communication with external stakeholders (e.g. AIMS, BAAINBw, WTD, various customers etc.)
Your profile:
- Degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, aerospace engineering or comparable engineering degree
- Many years of experience in dealing with military and civilian customers
- Many years of experience regarding military/civil development
- Project management certification (PMI, IPMA or comparable)
- Business fluent in German and English
- Team leadership and project management experience
- Strong communication and negotiation level
Ability/Willingness to travel within EU, AIMS and NATO countries
