Description

• Product Managers of the Business Sector Visualization ensure that ZEISS Microsurgery Visualization Systems and Surgical Microscopes are economically successful by identifying and fulfilling customer needs
• They are responsible for the whole product lifecycle and therefore involve in all product related topics that have impact on customer success, with a strong focus on translating customer needs into features and steering R&D
• With their decisions they balance customer needs, technical feasibility, and economic constraints and thus determine what gets built and delivered to customers
• Analyze markets and identify business opportunities Define product strategy Create and implement new business models Develop product requirements and claims (features)
• Work with R&D to fill the innovation pipeline Manage innovation key opinion leaders (KOLs)
• Steer the product development process incl. regulation, conduct pre-launch validation
• Support market launch concept development
• Support market launches
• Support product training development
• Ensure successful ramp-ups Look for opportunities to improve & update products/ solutions and implement them

• Master of Science/Engineering/Business/Medicine
• First touchpoints/ experience with product management/ application support or a comparable qualification with an international focus, preferably in the healthcare industry
• First experience in functional leadership (prefered)
• Strong business sense Innovation skill- and mindset
• Strong communicator, networker, and team player
• Execution focused
• Structural and analytical thinking and working style
• Passion for healthcare industry
• Knowledge of medical consumables and sterile products prefered
• Knowledge of neuro, spine, ENT markets or microsurgery a plus
• Speaks English fluently and strong German skills a plus
