Description
About ClimatiqIf you're looking for a role that has an impact on the world, and not just a balance sheet, Climatiq is the place for you.
We're a fast-growing startup embedding carbon intelligence into business decisions worldwide. Our platform-combining the world's leading emissions database with sophisticated AI and calculation tools-helps thousands of sustainability teams work faster and reduce emissions across corporate and product carbon footprints.
Our team is united by fighting climate change. We value both speed and quality because the crisis demands we move fast without cutting corners. That requires trust, clear communication, and everyone delivering excellent work.
Our HQ is in Berlin, and we have a remote-friendly team across Europe. We are supported by world-renowned investors including Alstin Capital, Singular, Cherry Ventures and more, and we're a certified B Corp.
About the Role
You'll own Climatiq's Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) solutions-covering the no-code tools for manufacturers, the developer API powering software platforms, and the calculation engine behind them. You'll shape the future of accessible PCF tooling, allowing manufacturers to deliver reliable and scalable calculations that will help them to win more RFPs, drive emissions reductions, and meet regulatory requirements.
You'll report directly to the CEO and closely partner with the CTO, fellow Product Managers, and a cross-functional team of full-stack and data engineers, climate scientists, and carbon accounting experts. You'll have clear goals, and ownership of the resources and plan to reach them. If you're passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technology to accelerate climate action and joining a team of dedicated professionals, we want to hear from you.
What you'll do:
- Define and own the PCF roadmap-from core API capabilities to no-code tools. This is a role where you'll truly own the product, rather than just managing delivery of someone else's vision
- Deeply engage with our customers and build innovative products they'll love. There's no playbook on how to build a product like this, so you'll get to define it.
- Build automation and AI initiatives to enhance the product without sacrificing reliability or audit visibility
- Partner with LCA and carbon accounting experts on methodology development and data quality to ensure calculations remain accurate, compliant, and trusted
- Collaborate with product marketing to ensure clear messaging and positioning that connects with customers and prospects
- Continuous market and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities and risks
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading technical B2B SaaS/PaaS products from concept through launch
- Understanding of compliance-driven products (regulatory requirements, audit trails, methodology standards) - GHG accounting or LCA experience is a strong bonus
- Excellent communication skills to connect with internal teams and customers in a dynamic startup environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for climate-tech and data-driven sustainability
- Eligibility to work in Germany is an advantage, but we can offer sponsorship to the right candidate
Additional Information
- Location: Berlin
- Starting date: As soon as possible
- Hours: Full-time, flexible working hours
- Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits, including employee stock options, learning and development stipend, regular team offsites, and more
As a certified B Corp, Climatiq is an equal-opportunity employer and we welcome and encourage candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply for roles on our team. Send us your CV and a short cover letter, highlighting your skills and experience, relevant for the advertised role.
