The Role
Your mission
GotPhoto is looking for a driven Product Manager to own and evolve the core fintech experience that underpins our SaaS platform and e-commerce shop. In this role, you will drive the mission to deliver reliable, scalable and expandable payment processing capabilities; compliant and clear invoicing for our ordering system; clear and comprehensive financial reporting; transparency and clarity in money flow of the photographers; & run internal accounting system and make our business operational.
As GotPhoto continues to scale internationally, this role will be critical in bridging product, engineering, and finance to modernize our financial workflows, improve customer experience, and ensure operational and regulatory excellence. This is a great opportunity for a Product Manager who wants to deepen their fintech expertise while driving meaningful business impact at scale.
Role Description
- Product Roadmap & Execution: Build and evolve the fintech roadmap in close collaboration with engineering and design based on effective quantitative and qualitative discovery and drive execution into impact.
- Fintech Customer Experience: Drive customer value and business impact by enabling and improving financial processing (accounting, invoicing, billing), payments and financial reporting usability along the customer workflow (SaaS) and shop (e-commerce)
- FinOps Support: Partner with the CFO team and ensure accuracy in revenue recognition and accounting workflows by implementing. Support data integration & integrity.
- Architecture & Process Optimization: Team up with engineering management to support continuous migration towards modernized architecture and high-trust automated processes while maintaining operational continuity.
- Compliance & Audit Integrity: Champion compliance and product quality (e.g. audit logs, tax handling, PSD2/GDPR, etc.)
Experience & Background
- Product Management: Min. 3 years experience and mastery of modern product discovery & delivery methodology in a vertical SaaS workflows and e-com context
- Fintech Fluency: Proficiency in payment ecosystems (e.g. Stripe), API-driven data models, and integrating with accounting tools like DATEV, QuickBooks, or Xero. Experience managing diverse monetization models (subscriptions, pay-per-use, hybrid) across multi-currency and cross-border payment environments.
- Transformation & Migration: Experience in co-owning complex technical projects & migrations in close collaboration with engineering, UX/design and customer care & success stakeholders.
- Analytical Financial Mindset: Strong ability to derive insights from transaction data to perform root-cause analysis for discrepancies and drive revenue accuracy.
- Stakeholder Influence: Excellent communicator skilled at navigating alignment along finance/compliance, engineering and management stakeholders. Ability to build powerful scenarios & business cases in a lean & efficient manner.
