Purpose of the Role
1. Develop and recommend marketing strategies to maximize sales and profitability, aligned with company guidelines.
2. Demonstrate strong market insight and understanding of relevant sectors to ensure the PI product portfolio (Oncology(excp.biopsy)/ESKD/PVD) reaches its full potential.
Main Responsibilities
1. Marketing Knowledge
- Demonstrate deep understanding of market sectors relevant to the PI business(ESKD/PVD/Oncology(excp.biopsy) to maximize product potential.
- Collaborate with the PI Sales Team and Marketing Specialist to build and implement strategic marketing initiatives.
Key Activities:
- Analyze periodic margin and make pricing/discounting decisions.
- Lead new product launches and ensure market-fit.
- Leverage data (sales, product, market trends) to develop effective promotional tools tailored to market and sales team needs.
- Drive market intelligence efforts: gather Voice of Customer (VoC), analyze customer purchasing criteria, conduct perception surveys, and understand buying processes.
- Generate regular reports on marketing and sales performance metrics.
2. Marketing Plans & Activities
- Develop and recommend marketing plans to achieve optimal sales and profitability within company guidelines.
Key Activities:
- Lead the Annual Strategic Review (ASR) process and ensure execution of related actions and milestones.
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans including objectives, strategies, tactics, and budget planning.
- Organize promotional campaigns and lead product advertising, including new product launches.
- Ensure BD's presence at key conferences to maximize market exposure within budget constraints.
- Participate in pricing and volume discount policy decisions.
- Collaborate on the creation of digital and print marketing materials.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales or marketing.
- Solid understanding of medical device business practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle complexity and influence stakeholders.
- Customer-focused mindset with creativity and innovation.
- Experience in medical device marketing preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as SFDC and Marketo preferred.
- International experience is a plus.
