About the role
You will own the end-to-end product strategy for Tamara's collections & recovery ecosystem, transforming collections policies into scalable, automated workflows/solutions. Your mandate is to build an automation-first collections engine that leverages AI/ML to maximize recovery rates while minimizing operational overhead. You will also lead the design and build of the Collections CRM, equipping collections with context-aware tools and decision support to streamline early and late-stage recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, launch, and scale Tamara's Repayment and Collections products across early and late stages.
- Own the collections product roadmap, informed by data analysis, user research, market trends, and company strategy.
- Translate collections policy and risk frameworks into productized, automated, and auditable workflows.
- Leverage AI and machine learning to enhance collections effectiveness, including: Intelligent prioritization of accounts and cases, Predictive signals for likelihood to pay and optimal contact timing, Channel selection and sequencing optimization
- Partner with BI, Risk, and Engineering to support predictive models for collections and recovery
- Drive adoption of automation-first approaches, reducing manual effort through experimentation with AI-powered capabilities & Smart reminder orchestration via a centralised Collections CRM
- Enable agents with context-aware workflows, decision support, and compliant action paths
- Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are embedded into product design from day one
- Generate regular performance reports with clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/Graduate in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in product manager experience with ownership of complex products within collections, payments or risk management
- Experience building or owning internal tools (CRM, ops platforms, workflow systems)
- Proven ability to translate policy and strategy into scalable product solutions
- Ability to quickly learn and retain new procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
