Product Manager (m/f/d)

What tasks await you?

• Development and management of the portfolio strategy as well as creation and maintenance of product roadmaps in close coordination with sales and engineering.
• Conducting market, competitor and customer analyses (incl. VOC) and deriving strategic recommendations for roadmaps, value selling and business cases.
• Evaluation of new market and product opportunities and participation in the creation of business cases.
• Close cooperation with Sales & Marketing on key account strategies, product demonstrations and to strengthen customer value.
• Function as a central interface between quality, sales, engineering and operations to solve product-specific issues.
• Co-design of the stage-gate process including definition of requirements, specifications, cost targets and schedules.
• Management of product launches as well as creation of suitable sales and training documents for internal and external target groups.
• Support VA/VE and supply chain initiatives, as well as contribute to price recommendations to achieve revenue and margin targets.

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in engineering (preferably electrical engineering) or business/marketing (ideally B2B technology marketing).
• Several years of professional experience in product management, ideally in the field of instrumentation, controls or vision systems.
• Very good MS Office skills, experience with Power BI is an advantage.
• You work independently, analytically and goal-oriented and proactively drive projects forward.
• Very good knowledge of German and English required, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel approx. 20% (national & international).
