Description
The Product Manager for Chase Branded Credit Cards is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large, complex programs that drive innovation and growth within the Chase credit card portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong program management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless execution from ideation through launch, maintain high standards of product management, and provide executive-level reporting. Proficiency in Jira Align and agile delivery practices is essential.Job responsibilities
- Program Management: Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of large, complex programs for Chase Branded Credit Cards, including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-product managers, delivery managers, technology teams, operations, and executive leadership.
- Executive Status Reporting: Prepare and present clear, concise program status updates, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication across teams, ensuring transparency, alignment, and timely resolution of issues.
- Jira Align Hygiene: Maintain rigorous standards in Jira Align, ensuring accurate tracking of program progress, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, driving resolution and escalation as needed. Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion process improvements and agile best practices to enhance delivery efficiency and program outcomes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- Proven track record managing and delivering large, complex programs
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Experience overseeing product managers and cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in Jira Align and agile delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
