What you'll do
S/4HANA Last Mile Distribution is SAP's latest innovation for the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry process. This approach enables consumer product companies to deliver goods directly to points of sale - such as retail outlets, mom-and-pop stores, and vending machines - bringing manufacturers closer to their customers. By doing so, companies can influence product presentation and availability, execute in-store merchandising, and carry out targeted activities to boost market share at the individual store level.
- As a product manager, you will be accountable that the product is viable and valuable for customers. Your focus is on building successful products with high usage and customer satisfaction.
- As part of an empowered product team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders like Engineering and User Experience and with external stakeholders like customers and partners to drive innovation, solve customer problems, and ensure the success of our product offering.
- You will support the realization of product vision and roadmap, considering strategic, customer, technical, and competitive aspects.
- You compile the requirements and feedback from customers, partners and SAP internal stakeholders and create high-quality specifications for the product backlog as basis for development.
- Your accountability includes the timely delivery of valuable products based on customer requirements, and the support of the products along the complete lifecycle.
What you bring:
- Profound knowledge and experience with SAP S/4HANA ERP, especially in SAP Order-to-Cash, SAP Logistics, Financials and ideally Customer Relationship Management
- Solid technical understanding, enabling effective discussions with architects and developers
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of SAP release management processes
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal abilities
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Highly driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Adaptable and resilient, able to perform effectively in dynamic and changing environments
