SCOS, a Division of OrthoWest, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare marketing, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record of building strategic relationships within the medical community. This position requires expertise in social media management, website maintenance, outreach to primary care physician (PCP) practices, and brand development.
- Social Media Marketing: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies designed to enhance brand visibility and patient engagement. Curate and create compelling content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter). Monitor analytics, respond to inquiries, and foster positive interactions with current and prospective patients.
- Website Management: Oversee the maintenance and regular updating of the organization's and physicians' websites, ensuring information is accurate, relevant, and accessible. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to introduce new services, highlight physician accomplishments, and provide timely updates regarding events, news, and patient resources. Optimize website performance and user experience in alignment with the group’s branding.
- Outreach to PCP Practices: Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns aimed at primary care practices throughout Orange County. Establish and nurture relationships with PCPs, distribute promotional materials, organize informational sessions, and facilitate collaborative opportunities to drive referral growth. Monitor outreach effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize impact.
- Brand Building: Work closely with senior leadership and clinical teams to develop and reinforce the orthopedic group’s brand identity. Craft messaging that distinguishes the group as a leader in orthopedic care. Leverage marketing channels to communicate core values, strengths, and patient success stories, contributing to the group’s reputation as the premier provider in the region.
- Analytics & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on key performance indicators for all marketing efforts. Utilize data-driven insights to assess the success of campaigns, recommend improvements, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Prepare formal reports for leadership and participate in ongoing strategy refinement.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in digital marketing platforms, website management tools, and possess a deep understanding of healthcare industry standards. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required. Experience in orthopedic or medical practice marketing is strongly preferred.
