Wespath, recognized as a 2017-2025 Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® and a 2018-2025 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®, has an opportunity for a Marketing Manager – Investment Solutions that leads the development and execution of marketing strategies and materials that support Wespath’s investment funds and sustainability/impact strategies. This role serves as a key partner to the Investments team, translating complex investment data and reporting into clear, compelling, and compliant marketing and sales enablement materials. The Marketing Manager ensures accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment across all investment marketing and reporting while supporting institutional growth objectives.
More specifically, as a Marketing Manager – Investment Solutions you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Product Marketing—Investment Funds & Solutions: Lead product marketing efforts for Wespath’s investment funds and sustainability strategies. Develop and maintain clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that supports consultant, client, and prospect engagement, in close partnership with Investment Management (IM), Institutional Investment Services (IIS) and Legal.
- Investment Reporting Coordination: Coordinate investment marketing and reporting efforts across the IM, Sustainable Investment Stewardship (SIS), Marketing & Communications, and IIS teams. Support the alignment of IM data, marketing materials, and IIS reporting to ensure consistent narratives, accurate performance representation, and streamlined workflows. Develop investment and product-related materials that help advance the organization’s marketing objectives, including fund fact sheets and case studies, thought leadership materials, Investment Funds Descriptions, Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) reporting, monthly Markets at A Glance videos, and PowerPoint slides for internal/external presentations.
- Investment Databases: Manage Wespath’s presence across consultant databases and platforms, ensuring timely updates, accuracy of fund information, and alignment with approved marketing and reporting language.
- Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Questionnaires Support: Serve as the primary resource for fund related RFP responses, ensuring consistency with approved product positioning, disclosures, and firmwide messaging. Act as a backup resource for broader RFP and investment questionnaire work by supporting content development, data coordination, and quality control as needed.
- Web and Social Media Content Support: Collaborate with web, digital marketing, and social media partners to ensure investment products are accurately and effectively represented and marketed across digital channels. Support investment related website content, consultant facing materials, and digital storytelling aligned with product marketing strategies.
Marketing Manager – Investment Solutions Benefits and Compensation:

- The compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant’s qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role), and as such, may fall outside the range shown.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, economics, finance, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- 7 years’ experience as a marketing professional in a corporate position or similar environment, at least 3 years’ experience related to investment services with a demonstrated ability to understand technical investment terminology.
- Excellent project management skills (ability to draft and maintain ongoing project schedules and deliver to established deadlines).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within an institutional asset management, investment consulting, or similar environment.
- Experience producing high-quality, integrated product marketing communications from concept through production.
- Understanding of how technical charts and investment performance information can be used for marketing purposes.
